Olympic Gymnast Shannon Miller Coming to Sports Fitness and Fun!

Olympic Gymnast Coming to Florida, NY for Open Gym Event

Sports, Fitness and Fun is hosting an “Open Gym” event,  July 14, with Olympic Gold Medalist, Health & Fitness Advocate, Wife and Mother Shannon Miller.

Shannon is best known for her role at the 1996 Olympic Games, when she led the “Magnificent Seven” to the US Women’s first ever Team Gold and for the first time for any American gymnast, she captured Gold on the balance beam. She is the most decorated gymnast in US history earning 59 international and 49 national competition medals, and is the only female athlete to be inducted into the US Olympic Hall of Fame twice.

This special event will take place on July 14th from 12-1:30pm. It is an excellent opportunity for kids to get active along side an Olympic Champion. Youth, ages 6-12 will have opportunity to practice tumbling, swing on the bars, balance on the beam, jump on the trampolines, hang on the trapeze, flip into the foam pit and more. Shannon will be on hand to play games with the kids and offer instruction on the apparatus. There will be opportunity for photos and autographs for registered participating children at the end of the event.

Call  to reserve a spot for this once in a life time experience, at 845-651-1000.  More info at www.sportsfitnessfun.com. Sports, Fitness & Fun, 1743 State Route 17A, Florida, NY 10921.
