Ultimate Sambo Mixed Martial Arts Academy of Florida New York brings with it a little bit of Russian culture. Sambo is prevalent in Russia producing many of the world’s champions, not only in Sambo, but also in Judo, Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling as well as Full Contact Fighting (MMA).

The techniques of Sambo are so vast and all encompassing that there is something to be gained by anyone wishing to train. Not only does the practitioner acquire the most effective self defense techniques, but through training, develops coordination, builds muscle mass, and maximizes cardio efficiency. Training in Sambo teaches the students very real, very practical self defense and focuses on proper throws, take downs, deadly striking, effective grappling skills, and various chokes and submissions. Ultimate Sambo MMA offers Sambo based Mixed Martial Arts classes delivered by instructors of champion caliber. There are classes for men, women and children from beginner to advanced as well as sparring and fitness classes. Professional mixed martial arts competitors are also trained at the academy and there is an amateur competition team for non professionals who wish to compete. The Ultimate Sambo competition team training has produced champions resulting in Ultimate Sambo having been previously ranked as one of the Nations “TOP 10 Grappling Schools” by the North American Grappling Association.
