The personal training program offers one-to-one training with certified personal trainers at Sports Fitness & Fun.
Our personal training can be used to get started correctly on a fitness program that is right for you, for short-term consulting for sport or injury post-rehabilitation, or to help you stay motivated and focused on your long term goals.
During the initial consultation, these goals are defined with our Fitness Coordinator, and a training program is established with your personal trainer. Youth, adults and seniors will benefit from cardiovascular conditioning, rehabilitation to sports specific conditioning and even reconditioning after surgery. Our staff has the expertise, education and resources to design the program you need. Best of all, your trainer will be there with you every step of the way.
Personal training is a great way to renew your commitment to your fitness regime or to devise a new, more effective one. Collaboration with a personal trainer, whether for short-term motivation or performance, can be a beneficial addition to any fitness program.
Your membership benefits include a Fitness Evaluation and frequent Re-evaluations to acclimate you to our program and to keep you on track.
That’s what makes your workout unique! Our cutting edge programs deliver results through personal attention to exceed all of your expectations. Our trained professionals are ready to make your goals a reality. See yourself in the shape you’ve imagined and feel great too.
Personal Fitness Evaluation
Our fitness evaluation/testing includes body composition, cardiovascular endurance, strength, endurance, and flexibility, which gives you a realistic understanding of your overall fitness level.
The first step toward achieving your goals with 1 to 1 training. This basic 10 hour program is designed to get you on the right track by developing a comfort level with the structure and components of your new workout. Your one-month program will have an emphasis on education and safety.
Certified Personal Training Staff
The education of our trainers is an essential part of the success of our program and to the effectiveness of your workouts. We require our one to one trainers to hold an accredited educational background in a nationally recognized certification. This includes The National Academy of Sports Medicine, The National Strength and Conditioning Association, NFTA, The American Council of Exercise and/or an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field.
Whether you are starting an exercise program for the first time, revamping an old workout, or attaining a specific goal to completion, our certified personal trainers are here to help you maximize you time, keep you injury free, and to help you get the most out of your membership. Immediately following your Fitness Evaluation, new members will be scheduled for one complimentary personal training session. This introduction to the gym floor apparatus provides you with the fundamentals you need to complete a ‘Total Body” workout and sample the experience of working with our one to one professionals.
